Raheem Heid grew up in Nordweststadt in the north-west district of Frankfurt. He attended elementary school in Frankfurt-Niederursel and graduated from secondary school in the Wetterau district. His roots are in the USA and Germany.

Reezy started making music at the age of 15 in the early 2010s. By his own account, he learned piano and guitar with the help of YouTube tutorials, produced his own music and rapped to it. His publication on SoundCloud also caught the attention of Bausa, and when they met by chance at a concert in 2016, he helped Heid break into the music business. Under the rapper name Reezy, he was a support act for RIN, among others, and as producer Raheem Supreem, he worked for him, Bausa and other rappers. He was the first to be signed to the Two Sides label, a collaboration between Bausa and Sony’s Four Music, in 2017.

He had his first chart placement in 2018 as a guest on Bausa’s single Belle etage 2.0. Also in 2018, he released two mixtapes in quick succession with different focuses; he worked on these releases mainly at night, as he also completed his training as a computer scientist in Bad Homburg in 2018. His debut album Teenager Forever was released in spring 2019 and entered the charts in German-speaking countries, even though it only lasted a short time and did not produce a single hit.
