salute is an Austrian-Ghanaian producer and DJ who originally hails from Vienna and now lives in Manchester. With a unique mix of house, UK garage, breakbeat and influences from soul and R&B, he has made a name for himself internationally. He began producing his own music at a young age – influenced by the variety of black music styles he listened to as a child. His breakthrough came with the single “Joy”, a euphoric dance track that perfectly captures the lightness and depth of his music. Salute stands for emotional club music that is as danceable as it is touching. In his sets, he combines driving beats with warmth and a clear musical vision. With EPs such as Shield and his debut album True Magic, he has further developed his sound and established himself as one of the most exciting acts on the electronic music scene.
