The London five-piece band Pumarosa led by singer and guitarist Isabel Munoz-Newsome, is tipped for success. They earned their reputation as a great live band after playing numerous gigs in their hometown. Pumarosa’s music is hypnotizing, danceable and ranges between dance and rock – they call it industrial spiritual. It all started in a small and derelict Italian cinema. On the Calabrian coast, under the Italian sun and during their night-time music sessions, Pumarosa wrote their first songs, which they took to the studio of Dan Carey (Kate Tempest, Bat For Lashes). Their first song „Priestess“ was released and immediately attracted the attention of music lovers all around the globe. Festival appearances, support shows for Glass Animals such as a self-titled EP and their own tour followed. Their impatiently awaited debut album „The Witch“ will be released at the end of May. Besides the music the visual component plays an important role. Isabel Munoz-Newsome does all the artwork and stage design. Her sister created the choreography for the video clip of „Priestess“. Pumarosa is a band with an inexhaustible source of creativity and devotion to music, art and the progressiv way of thinking.
